30 luglio Footballing NewsI have put this underneath Liverpool FC, but I had to, it does contain some LFC news, obviously.
LFC News is where I will start. Firstly, in a clever masterstroke by Rafa and LFC, we have now signed Robbie Keane for a fee believed to be upto £20.3 Million depending upon certain criteria being met.
However, apart from the fact it's clever because him and Torres would scare the living daylights out of a defence consisting of anyone, it's also clever because it gives us another way to wind Manchester United fans up! Imagine, match day at Old Trafford, ManU versus Liverpool, the travelling Kop are very quiet, when all of a sudden the teams come out onto the pitch and all the Liverpool fans start chanting "There's only one Keano!".
So, Rafa has now replaced Peter Crouch who, I believe, has scored in every pre-season match after his £12million move to Portsmouth!
We have also signed Ngog, who is apparently an extremely talented striker of only 19 years of age. Along with Degen and Dossena who are going to be first-teamers (I think personally) and a fair few promising youngsters (I will list all transfers in a later blog) things are looking promising for Liverpool!
Anyways, onto Manchester United, and everyones favourite (diving, whinging, cheating t*t) winger, Christiano Ronaldo! Big news, he has managed to NOT whinge about wanting to go to Real Madrid and how he is being treated like a slave! Oh well, be thankful for small mercy's. Of course, it goes without saying a massive mercy would be for him to feck off!
Edit: I hope Alex Ferguson kicks some sense into him! Also, whilst yes I do think he is a diving cheat, I will say it because he is far too good to have to do it which makes it all the more frustrating. Like Drogba of Chelsea. I just wish these players would show some sort of loyalty to clubs and, more importantly what makes the club, the fans. Especially when that said player got the backing of the club and fans through a difficult period (in this case, after the Rooney incident I think during the World Cup).
Don't get me wrong, I can understand players wanting to move, but there are ways and means.
Hope this clears up any possible mis-interpretation?
Onto Tottenham. Well it seems, inbetween whinging about big clubs wanting to buy there players, that they can actually buy players as well! Or at least try. They have made one or two signings, but one which intrigues me more than anything is that they have been linked to Arshavin for £19Million! Now, this intrigues me for more than playing purposes, imagine the tabloid headlines:

Anyways folks, more later, have fun! 29 luglio All Things Being Right, Like Money, Let Me Introduce My Next CarAfter a long, hard think I have decided what my next car is going to be, let me introduce it:
Looking Good In Grey - 2009 Ford Forus RS
Ooh That's One Cool Colour, Me Like - 2009 Ford Focus RS
Lurverly Interior, Yumm - 2009 Ford Focus RS
Yes folks, all being equal and finances allowing, my next car is going to be the 2009, 280BHP (at least) Ford Focus RS!
Why? You may ask? When you could get an Impreza or an Evo go for the Focus RS? Well, firstly, it is going to be a lot cheaper! Even then it will be around the £25,000 mark! Having said that, figures as low as (HA!) £21,000 have been mentioned!
Secondly, even though it will be two-wheel drive as opposed to four (like the Evo and Impreza), it will probably handle just as good if not better than either (and anyways, you lose over 10BHP using four-wheel drive) due to some nifty work with a semi-active limited-slip diff setup.
For those of you who know me, I have owned two Ford Focus' in my time and have driven many a different type of car, from Volvo's to VW VR6's to Renault's to Vauxhall's, and I still, to this day, maintain that the Focus is THE best car for handling I have EVER driven! I have no reason to not believe the comment about the above!
The car is said to be able to do 0-60mph in 5 seconds! That is one fast motor. It's an ASBO maker. Twisted ASBO Maker!
Anyways, I may do a more in-depth preview later, for now you can salivate all over this:
Later peeps! 28 luglio Back Once Again Like A Renegade MasterWell folks, I am back once again like a renegade master (how fecking corney is that!?!?!?). Had a great holiday, 'twas fab! So now I am back and playing catch-up with my friends.
I have discovered a few pet hates though, which will be blogged about later (mainly to do with cars. Or, rather, drivers in certain circumstances). Oh, never went to gym this morning, attempting to getting used to getting up early again! Tomorrow I am going back, yippeeee!
Blog and Guestbook now available for comments peeps.
Now I await my (bottling) spammers to post some crap after having read the idiots guide to weight training. 14 luglio ApologiesI would like to send out apologies to my friends, all of whom have been neglected by me lately!
Usually, on a Friday, I send out happy weekends etc on my friends' guestbooks. Just lately I have not. For this, I apologise! Normal service should be resumed towards this weekend.
Please accept my humblest apologies. 11 luglio Favourite/Prettiest Actresses/Stars - New EntrantI have finally got around to adding someone else to my list of favourite/prettiest actresses/stars. Please welcome Ana Ivanovic to my list. I have linked through to her website, so if you click her name on the list it will take you there.
This has made my list a 6 instead of a top 5, and she has jumped straight to number 2!
She is very, very pretty, but still not pretty enough to knock
I have just added photos of Ana Ivanovic to the relevant album as well.... enjoy! Duran Duran - 5th July 2008I know, I know, it has taken me almost a full week to post this, but I have finally got around to it!
I went to the Duran Duran concert last week at the Liverpool Echo Arena and, well, all I can say is that it was superb! The venue, the music, the performance, all absolutely superb!
Duran Duran are excellent live, thats all I can say.
They performed songs from the past and present, including songs like Rio, View To A Kill, Sunrise and my personal favourite Duran Duran song, Wild Boys. I still believe that Wild Boys should be the song that they end on (instead of Rio) as it always seems to get the bigger reception, but thats just my humble opinion!
They did something different with some of the songs by perfoming them "electronically", but that was superb as well.
Be it a slowy (Come Undone), rock like (Wild Boys), pop like (Rio), they are all brill! I have still not found a tune by Duran Duran that I actively dislike!
All in all, an excellent night was had by all, and it's amazing the amount and age range that Duran Duran still have as fans! Well worth seeing if you get the chance!
Not only that, but this concert was very long. They did a lot of songs and I was surprised by the length of time. Certainly got value for money!

07 luglio Oooh, Tennis! Go Nadal! How exciting was that? The tennis, that was truely awesome! Everything that Wimbledon is about in the tennis calender all rolled into one heart racing, pulse bursting, adrenalin fuelled frenzy of a match!
I was rooting for Rafa Nadal. Apart from the fact he shares the same Christian name as a certain manager of my footie team, he is a tremendous player, yet he was still the underdog.
Roger Federer is one of the finest players to have graced the tennis circuit in a long, long time and he played his part in what I think is the match to show how good mens tennis can be. What an advert for mens tennis!
You see over the years, I have prefered womens tennis (and not for the good looking ladies like a certain Miss Sharapova, although a massive bonus
Well thats what it seemed like to me.
However, yesterday was testament to how mens tennis is rediscovering himself, and it also showed why Andrew Murray was shown his ar*e by Nadal. The guy is awesome, pure class!
The passing play from Nadal was awesome, as was all aspects of his play, his serve, his baseline play, all truely awesome. The show of pace and power mixed with tremendous shots and baseline play from both players was a breath of fresh air from mens tennis!
For the first two sets, he showed Federer his ar*e as well! I mean Nadal, in the second set, was 4-0 games down, yet he managed to win the set. Brilliant!
Then, the usual factor with Wimbledon came into play, the good old English weather! Rain stopped play! Now, I am a great believer that these things can effect the way a match is going, and I was not disappointed.
Federer came out and fought doggedly to get the match back on even terms set wise, and it wasnt until then that he actual led in the match. However, before then, I must say I thought Nadal needed to win the match in the forth set, as if it got to the fifth I honestly thought Federer would do it!
Nadal had already missed one opportunity to win the match, and you could tell at the time that his bottle had gone, the serve he put in was, erm, crap to say the least, even I could have returned it!
Both of them fought like gladiators to win that match, both truely good adverts for the revival of mens tennis. And I am soooo glad Nadal has finally managed to beat Federer on grass!
Oh, and Federer deserves to lose even just for the bleedin' stupid cardigan he wore at the end! How pompous could he be? At least he redeemed himself by being a good sportsman in defeat during his speech.
Well done Nadal lad! Well done! Take a bow my son! 01 luglio My Song Of The Week - Some Kinda Rush - Booty LuvI never did a song of the week for last week, so, I am planning on having two this week (may do the second on Friday). The first entrant this week is the absolutely wonderful Some Kinda Rush by Booty Luv!
One of the (what I class) best dance tunes I have heard in a long, long time! In fact, I would say that Boogie 2Nite contains probably six (that's right, no less than 6) of my favourite dance tunes, with this topping the bill! (Believe it or not though, the Bonus album contains an even better version, the Ryden's Live Edit, which unfortunately does not appear on Youtube).
It's great to drive to, great to dance to, great to weight train to (inbetween my Rocky soundtrack LOL
Not only that, but Booty Luv are fronted by two absolutely gorgeous young ladies called
As usual, I have attached the Youtube vid (isn't Youtube great), enjoy ladies and gents.
