    Heroes! - It's Coming Back!

Your royal flumpness here!  Having not been to the gym for, ooh, almost two weeks now due to my training injury (damaged ligaments in my wrist, and yes it is a training injury... stop sniggering at the back), I seem to have more time to blog than ever before, so, here I am, all flumped and ready to go!  Boy, I cannot wait to get back!

Anyways, as the title suggests, it seems Heroes is coming back, due to be aired in September!  Yee-hah!

    Here is a linky:

There is a quick snippet there with Zachery Quinto as Sylar looking as menacing as ever, right before Claire clonks him over the head with a trophy.

Along with Lost, this must be my favourite series on TV at the moment.

Which brings me nicely onto something else......

    Lost....
    JJ Abrams....
    Cloverfield....
    Jessica Lucas

Haven't mentioned her for a while, but my fave actress (see top right of blog) has seemingly been casted in...... drum roll please..... 90210!!!!

    WHAT?!?!?!?

Okay, look, after the success of Cloverfield, most people would expect one's acting career (as we all know what JJ Abrams can do for an actor) to take off, right?

Well, no!  Since then, a film (Amusement) is still waiting to be released (I here 2099 is a good year), which is one dodgy teeny horror type film and she has since filmed another dodgy teeny type horror flick by Sam Raimi (after his almost-debacle of Spiderman 3) alongside non-other than Justin fecking Long!

Having said that, Justin Long (that is surely a contradiction in terms?) was decent in Die Hard 4.0, but that was probably because everytime he looked over his shoulder he poo'd his pants at the sight of Bruce Willis and thought he better do well just to stay alive!

Seriously, if the likes of him and Hayden "The Trees In Return Of The Jedi Are Jealous As I Am More Wooden Than They Are.... But Hey, He Was Decent In Jumper" Christensen can get roles in films, then maybe I should give it a go!

Anyways, I digress.  Where was I?  Jessica Lucas... blah, blah.... 90210.... blah, blah.... take off, right?..... ah got it!

WRONG!  No!  Her career has nose dived into the largest, teen-horror induced pit of greasy slime you can imagine!  I mean, come on!  You at least have a choice of CSI and 90210.... oooh, what do I do?  Oooh 90210!  OMG!  Talk about losing the plot!  It never had any to lose!  What is she thinking?  Has she gone into this spiral of self-destruction?  Couldn't she have had a word in JJ's ear and got into Lost?  Howabout Heroes (which is of course not by JJ)?  Nah, feck that 90210 is where it's at.... no it fecking ain't honey!

Anyway, for those who want to laugh/chuck/torture themselves:

    Oooh, Cannot Wait!

Well, come Friday I will have a new car.  Not brand new, but second hand, new to me though.

The car I am getting is a Saab 9-3 1.9TiD Vector Sport!  Cannot wait!  What a beautiful car it is as well!  Very smooth and fully kitted out!  Even has a cool box in the glove compartment (along with split climate control, heated leather seats, built in IPod connector etc etc)!

Can't wait..... oops, said that already!Open-mouthed

    Oh What A Day - Saturday 12:45PM

(In my best Big Brother voice) Saturday 12:45 Pee Emmm (Okay, that's enough of that for a lark).

Anyways, here I was, laid up on the couch with not only a hand full of damaged ligaments (reminds me a bit of Achmed The Dead Terrorist by Jeff Dunham "I need ligaments!"), but with a stonker of a migraine!  Didn't actually have the pain that bad, but the rest of it was awful.

Yup, I digressed a bit!  You see this is about what happened on Saturday lunch time.  It was time for, probably, the biggest domestic match of all, our (what seems like) yearly (fluky) loss to Manchester United.

It did not start well, not well at all!  You see, we went 1-0 down within 4 minutes and I instantly thought (inbetween thinking why are spots playing (see above)) that that was it, we are stuffed!

Alas, it was not to be!

Riera was a breath of fresh air!  Finally, a left sided player who could take people on, run at them at decent pace and beat with consummate ease with his trickery!  Which he did.... on several occassions!  He tracks back and works hard for the team as well, which is a bonus.... Harry Kewell.... take note.

Alonso is getting back to his best, Masche almost seems omnipotent at times, quite often I was sitting there thinking "Hang on, wasn't he over there literally a second ago?"

Well, there goal woke us up!  We played out of our skins, at times making them look nothing like the champions, dominating the match for most of it, although the first half was a bit more even than that.  The second half?  Well, we where awesome!  I could not believe my eyes!

Was this really happening?  Are we actually making the champions look like amateurs?  At times, yes we did, that's not to say we didn't have some scary moments, we did!  Giggs' volley was superb and if it wasn't for the fact that Reina can keep his concentration during long periods of doing almost nowt, that would have pegged the game back to 2-2.

Back to the team, Reina was superb, when he was called into action.  Carragher showed how to play Berbatov out of a match, tackle him hard twice and he disappears almost like Paul Daniels was in the crowd.  I am sure Alex Ferguson will kick that out him though, after all, he chose to play Rooney out of position to accommodate another £30Million player!

Yossi had a decent game, the back four, for most of the game where awesome.  Keane played decently and worked very hard, but looks like he is still finding his feet and Kuyt worked so hard my heart almost burst just watching him!

People will say, though, that Man U where without Ronaldo, well yes they where.  However, I would point out a few things:

1 - Apart from the game at OT when we went down to 10-men (the Masche (non) sending off), name one other occassion when Ronaldo had a good game against us?

2 - We never started with either Torres (for me, the best player in the league) and Gerrard!  I would argue that either of them are far more important to us than Ronaldo is to United (sum of parts etc etc).

Having said point 2, the players who played certainly stepped upto the plate and got counted, and I cannot help (God forbid me) but be proud of them.  Yes, even Yossi.

Just hope we can keep it going, consistancy is the key!

    Not Happy!

First off, let me apologise for not sending out greets lately, I will be doing so tonight (hopefully) or at least over the weekend.

I haven't been to the gym for over a week now and boy do I feel like a flump!  You see, I have managed to damage the ligaments in my right side wrist!  It hurts!

Hopefully I will be going back on Monday.

    Later folks!Open-mouthed
